Fallen Leaf Lawn & Yard Care, LLC

Customer FAQ

Are you insured?
Yes!  Fallen Leaf Lawn & Yard Care, LLC
is fully insured.
For your protection, you should only hire contractors to work on your property that are insured. If you hire a company that is not insured, any accidents on your property may be your responsibility.
A un-insured un-licensed company could end up costing you thousands or more if there is a accident or a injury on your property.

When will I be billed for services provided?
Billing is done on the first of the month. A typical billing cycle example would be June 1st to June 30th. The only exception is for spring and fall cleanups, payment is due upon completion.
If there is a problem or concern regarding payment, we encourage our customers to contact us as soon as possible.

When is payment due?
Payment must be received by us by the 15th of the month following service. i.e. Service period June 1st to June 30th is due by July 15th. The only exception to this is for spring and fall cleanup and landscape installations. These services are to be paid in full upon completion.

How does the weather conditions effect my services?
As the saying goes: If you don't like the weather in Connecticut, wait 5 minutes. If it is raining, more than likely, we are not cutting grass. When the weather clears, your scheduled day is pushed ahead. i.e. Your scheduled day is Thursday. It rains all day that Thursday. If weather conditions allow, we will be there on Friday. What is my scheduled day for service? i.e.. mowing, spring/fall cleanup?
At the beginning of the season, we put together our schedule and try to stay on schedule the best we can. If your scheduled day is Thursday, that will usually be your day for service. For spring/fall cleanups, scheduling is based on when we receive your signed and approved contract.

What kind of equipment do you use?
Fallen Leaf uses all commercial grade mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and hand tools. All equipment is regularly serviced and maintained for optimum performance.

Why didn't you cut my grass last week?
During dry spells, and slow growth periods, the proper maintenance may be to not cut the grass at all, to prevent damage to your lawn.
